From Arbesbach on the B 124 in the direction of Linz, you reach the BEAR SANCTUARY 3 km after the town center of Arbesbach.

From Vienna via car:

• drive in the direction of Krems
• from Krems on the route B37 to Rastenfeld
• then on the B38 until Groß Meinharts
• there turn left and drive to Arbesbach
   

From Linz via car:

• Option 1: drive on the motorway A7 and
• then on the route S10 in the direction of Freistadt
• then continue on the B38 in the direction of Zwettl (Lower Austria)
• in Groß Gerungs drive in the direction of Arbesbach
   
• Option 2: drive on the motorway A7 in the direction of Freistadt
• take the exit "Unterweitersdorf"
• then continue on the B 124 in the direction of Königswiesen

From Vienna, St. Pölten, Krems and Zwettl:

you can get to the sanctuary Monday to Friday on workdays via train or bus at following times:

From Vienna Franz-Josefs-station via train REX2810 at 7:03 a.m. or
from St. Pölten central station with train R6215 at 7:06 a.m. to Krems an der Donau.
From Krems take the bus 170 at 8:18 a.m. to "Zwettl Kampparkplatz" and from there with bus 735 at 9:17 a.m. to BEAR SANCTUARY Arbesbach, get off at stop "Arbesbach Bärenwald" (arrival at 10:02 a.m.).

Return will be possible at 13:27 p.m. and at 18:03 p.m. 

From Linz:

From Linz you can reach the BEAR SANCTUARY Arbesbach daily by bus 348 at 1:54 p.m. from the stop Linz Chemiepark (arrival at the BEAR SANCTUARY at 3:05 p.m.).
The return takes place on all days at 7:26 p.m. 

From Gmünd, Schrems, Waidhofen/Thaya, Vitis, Göpfritz and Allentsteig:

You can reach the BEAR SANCTUARY Arbesbach from the above mentioned cities via public transport from Monday to Friday.
